Flood control

Reservoirs

The pump intake is set on the bottom portion of the barrier therefore protecting it from stacking up debries. The Water-Gate accommodates any contour, any obstacle such as trees, and any surface. You just need to prevent water from seeping underneath the barrier.

Barriers can often do away with the need to buy a tanker truck—think of the savings! The Water-Gate can be used very successfully with high-output pumps. On average, a reservoir built as described and using a stream as a source can hold more than 5000 gallons (22 m³ ) of water, which is constantly replenished by the natural flow.

To dismantle the water barrier, simply lift a corner to allow water to flow under the bib. This will release the dam and allow the water to escape quickly. The barrier is then removed and folded ready for its next use.
