Place the Water-Gate as indicated on the roll.

Unroll the Water-Gate and position it where you want to create the dam.

Unfold the bib and push it down into the water.

Lay a uniform weight across the length of the front of the Water-Gate using our ballasting bags or stones from the bottom of the stream.

The Water-Gate adapts to any terrain, as you can see with the large rock on the left.

Ballasting bags
Unrolls quickly to give uniform weight distribution. This ballasting roll is 10 feet (3 m) long and weighs 30 pounds (13.5 kg) when full.

Pegs
Specially designed to hold the bib in loose soil, these pegs have a corrosion-proof coating.

Prepare the necessary material for the desired type of installation.

Unroll the water barriers and link together as many units as required. Next, unfurl the inferior membrane only..

Be sure to seal the barrier’s bib as well as possible. Ballasting bags are ideal for this. You can also use pegs or sandbags to hold down the bib.

There are no corner pieces because the Water-Gate easily bends to the required angle to create an inside or outside corner. In such cases, ballasting bags are strongly recommended.

When high winds threaten to complicate the Water-Gate’s installation, weights may be placed on the back of the barrier. The weights will just slide off the back when the barrier fills up with water, and will not prevent its automatic deployment.

The Water-Gate water barrier is synonym of stability, sturdiness and short time of installation.
