Many volunteers were present
at this "flash flood" in Victoriaville, Quebec in August 2003 and
were getting ready to save this house. Megasecur international. proceeded in
installing the Water-Gate and 10 minutes later, the danger was controlled. |

From the smallest to the
largest, all our Water-Gate barriers can be linked together, using
the attachments provided. |

 |

This crate, placed inside
the municipal truck, contains 500 feet (152 M) of barriers folded
like an accordion, able of being deployed in less than 2 minutes and
offering a protection level as high as 6’-6” (2 m). |
During an emergency
intervention, this system can be deployed very quickly to
encircle a whole city to ensure maximum protection. |

|
The water barrier can be installed
on long distances without any problems. It is more secure than sand
bags since there are no risk in doing a bad installation with the
barrier. |
 |

The versatile Water-Gate can
be folded in many ways and at any angle. |

In strong winds, sandbags
or other weights can be used to keep the fabric in place. Even
when a good deal of weight is used, the barrier opens from the
pressure of the flood water flowing into it. The sandbags slide
behind the barrier and will lodge underneath it without hindering
the deployment. |
